UAE Expands Visa-on-Arrival for Indian Passport Holders

📢 Great news for Indian travelers! The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has expanded its visa-on-arrival facility for Indian passport holders who have valid visas or residence permits from six additional countries—Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada.

Earlier, this facility was available only to those with valid visas or residence permits from the USA, UK, and European Union (EU) nations. With this update, more Indian travelers can now enjoy hassle-free entry into the UAE, further strengthening its position as a global travel hub.

Who is Eligible?

To qualify for a visa-on-arrival in the UAE, Indian travelers must:

✅ Hold a passport with at least six months validity

✅ Have a valid visa, residence permit, or Green Card from one of the eligible countries

Visa Categories & Fees

🛂 The UAE offers three visa options under this program:

🔹 4-day visa – AED 100

🔹 14-day extension – AED 250

🔹 60-day visa – AED 250

Other UAE Visa Options for Indian Travelers

Apart from visa-on-arrival, Indian passport holders can apply for:

✔️ Single-entry tourist visas (30 or 60 days)

✔️ Multiple-entry tourist visas (30 or 60 days)

✔️ Long-term multiple-entry visas (valid for 5 years)

✔️ Transit visas (48-hour & 96-hour options)

Additionally, Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) residents continue to enjoy visa-free entry.
